We are looking for a committed, versatile creative to assist our lead designer. You will work alongside the marketing and content team, planning, conceptualising and creating impactful content for our target market and range of clients. The core role is around supporting the marketing efforts from a design point of view. We seek a designer who is conceptual, who has an innate ability to simplify the complex and who can conceptualise fresh ideas. We want to hire someone who is passionate about producing great design work across a range of mediums. If you love building brands, than this job is for you. Specification On a weekly basis you will design for web, mobile, traditional print, brochures and more. Your tasks will vary from one day to the next: Creating landing pages, banners, email marketing campaigns, social media ads, developing print ads for newspapers and magazines, designing web pages for mobile devices etc. On a quarterly basis, we work with an advertising agency but also generate a lot of creative ideas ourselves, so conceptual thinking is a plus. Additional skills, like illustration would also be an advantage. An ability to handle video editing and compilation jobs, with a focus on quick turnaround times that are not at the expense of quality, would be a bonus. Key accountabilities and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to: Translate the design brief into exceptional work that leads to our desired outcomes Full graphic design across all formats (brand, digital, print, outdoor, POS, event, etc.) Generate and create crafted, visually pleasing and conceptual designs in collaboration with the lead designer and marketing team Full design knowledge, strong technical skills, great application knowledge Get excited, about creating beautiful and thought-provoking designs Manage workflow efficiently and take responsibility for timing and delivery Requirements Experience and Qualification: Degree/Diploma in design or related field and or tertiary qualification in visual design 0-3 years' experience working in a design role Proven graphic design experience and skill, with a strong portfolio Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality Graphic Design / Print Materials - Create appropriate professional print-based training materials, newsletters, display branding, literature, sales material, branding material, newsletters, presentations and web requirements. Design Suite: Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator , Photoshop, Acrobat Professional. Beneficial software skills: Sketch app, Invision and Figma Microsoft Office: For email and copy purposes Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines Web-based Video/Audio Production - Performs technical duties in the production of web-based video and audio projects for optimum distribution online. These include a Collective Investment Scheme Manco, Living Annuity, UCITS IV feeder-fund and Funds established in terms of the Pension Fund Act. Specification Key accountabilities and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to: All products Draft and maintain product specification documents and collateral for products Ensure products are aligned with the changing regulatory environment, market dynamics and customer needs Project manage the implementation of new products or product enhancements across the business Working closely with digital and IT to develop and enhance integrated product solutions and customer experience across the business Maintenance of product tools and calculators Providing technical marketing support and product positioning CIS Manco Responsible for operations of the CIS Manco Manage relationship with 3rd party administrator Liaise with internal and external compliance to ensure that policies are in line with relevant regulation and legislation Ensure operating procedures are complaint with company policies and service standards Preparation and completion of Manco Board and Sub-Committee packs Manage Manco relationship with external parties including Trustee, custodians, and the FSCA Assist with financial reporting of the Manco Living Annuity Manage relationship with cell captive insurer Liaise with compliance to ensure that product is being operated inline with regulation and agreements UCITS Manage relationship with 3rd party Manco and Administrator Requirements Qualification and Experience: Related Financial/Investment/Commercial degree Minimum of 3 years' experience in the CIS industry Strong understanding of the investment, tax and regulatory environment in South Africa Knowledge of technical and operational requirements of Manco operations

Specification Responsible for monitoring and reporting in terms of the Collective Investment Schemes Control Act (CISCA), Board Notice 90, Pension Funds Act and Regulation 28. Responsible for monitoring and reporting requirements for Regulation 28, CISCA and SARB. Reponsible for compliance with Board Notice 92. Monitor and assist the company with compliance with ASISA Codes, standards and guidelines. Maintain a working knowledge of financial instruments and assist on permissible investments. Assist with developing, drafting and updating daily, monthly and quarterly regulatory compliance procedures, processes and policies. Assist with the drafting of Deeds, Supplemental Deeds and Investment Mandates. Ensuring that current and new legislation is properly understood and has been correctly interpreted in order that the necessary compliance functions are implemented where required. Assist the Head of Legal and Compliance to resolve any compliance related complaints. Ensure that the business is kept up to date and have a proper understanding of current legislation, industry guidelines and practices as it applies to the FSP and the management company. Secretarial functions relating to the management company including, but not limited to, input in board meetings, advising directors on inter-company arrangements and drafting contracts. Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Head of Legal and Compliance. Requirements Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualification but a legal degree will be highly advantageous Experience: A minimum of 6 years' experience in the Investment Compliance gained from an Asset Management/related environment. This includes inbound and outbound engagement.
