Specification Become the Planner for the leading mining services construction company in Southern Africa, adding contractual value and commercial adeptness to a dynamic team. Construction Planner exists to ensure that the overall project plan is drafted and adhere to through the application of various administrative processes and support. Formulate programmes and plans for tender requirements. Ensure project programme requirements are identified and met, at specified levels of granularity, to enable practical implementation and compliance. Define and implement appropriate management operating systems. Oversee programme monitoring and reporting on site in support of broader business requirements. Ensure compliance and adherence to policies, procedures, practices and legislative requirements, effectively planning and utilisation of resources. Structure and deliver regular progress reports. Identify and highlight operational and project risks. Monitor and analyse project effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative tools. Recommend and implement modifications to improve effectiveness and project milestones. Ensure effective communication channels and engagement with all stakeholders. Ensure latest technology solutions are available for production monitoring and reporting against plan. Ensure technical excellence in gathering, collating, analysing and reporting on data. Ensure all work is executed within SHEQ standards. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Civil Eng Diploma or BTech Civil or Quantity Surveying Diploma. Project Management & management qualification would be advantageous. Knowledge of relevant systems, software and reporting processes. EXPERIENCE At least 5 years relevant experience in respect of working on construction projects as Site Engineer, preferably in a Planning role. SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES Expert knowledge and skills in construction management. Financial and budgeting management. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem solving, analytical, presentation and administrative skills.
